For The Brownies: 1 standard (18-ounce) box of brownie mix 1 to 2 eggs (as directed on the brownie package instructions) ½ cup of vegetable oil 3 tablespoons of water ½ cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips

Step 1

Start by preheating your oven to the temperature stated on the brownie mix box. Grease your baking pan well to avoid sticking.

In a bowl, combine the brownie mix, eggs, oil, and water. Mix well until you have a smooth batter, free of lumps.

Pour half of your brownie batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 20 minutes to form a solid base for your caramel layer.
