Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cooked ham, finely diced
  • 1/2 cup celery, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Bread slices for serving

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the diced ham, chopped celery, and red onion.
  2. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, chopped parsley, and lemon juice until smooth.
  3. Pour the creamy Dijon dressing over the ham mixture. Stir until all the ingredients are well coated.
  4. Taste and season with salt and pepper as needed. Adjust the amount of mayonnaise or mustard according to your preference.
  5. Cover and refrigerate the salad for at least an hour to allow the flavors to meld together.
  6. To serve, spread a generous amount of ham salad between two slices of your favorite bread. This salad also goes well on crackers or as a dip with veggies.
  7. Enjoy your delicious Ham Salad with Creamy Dijon Dressing!

Tips:

  • You can use leftover ham from a previous meal, or purchase pre-cooked ham from the store.
  • If you prefer a less creamy texture, reduce the mayonnaise and add a bit more mustard or a splash of pickle juice.
  • For extra crunch, consider adding chopped pickles or a small amount of chopped apple.
