Get ready for a scrumptious treat with these Cheese Steak Sliders. These mini sandwiches are loaded with flavorful steak, creamy cheese sauce, and fresh toppings. They’re quick to make and perfect for sharing at any gathering. Let’s get started!

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ pounds of thinly sliced ribeye steak
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 large onion, thinly sliced
  • 12 mini slider buns or dinner rolls
  • 6 slices of Provolone cheese, halved
  • 2 tablespoons of melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • Shredded lettuce
  • Pickle slices
  • Cheese Sauce (store-bought or homemade)

Get ready to make some tasty Cheese Steak Sliders! First, cook the steak and onions. Then, stack them on buns with cheese sauce, lettuce, and pickles. Bake them until the cheese melts. Easy and yummy, let’s start cooking!


Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven and Prepare Baking Dish:
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
    • Lightly grease a baking dish that can fit all 12 sliders.
  2. Cook the Steak:
    • Season the steak slices with salt and pepper.
    • Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
    • Add the steak and cook for about 3-5 minutes until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Sauté Onions:
    • In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil.
    • Add the sliced onions and sauté until softened and slightly caramelized, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Assemble the Sliders:
    • Slice the buns in half and lay the bottom halves in the prepared baking dish.
    • Spread a generous amount of cheese sauce over the bun bottoms.
    • Distribute the cooked steak evenly over the sauce.
    • Layer the sautéed onions on top of the steak.
    • Place a half slice of Provolone cheese on each slider.
    • Add shredded lettuce and a couple of pickle slices on top of the cheese.
    • Cover with the top halves of the buns.
  5. Add Final Touches:
    • In a small bowl, mix melted butter with garlic powder.
    • Brush this mixture over the top of the sliders.
  6. Bake:
    • Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 10 minutes.
