Cookies & Cream Cheesecake Tacos combine the beloved flavors of a classic cheesecake with the crunchy delight of taco shells, all swirled with the rich, nostalgic taste of cookies and cream.

Ingredients:

For the Taco Shells:

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup melted butter

For the Cheesecake Filling:

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup crushed Oreo cookies (or similar chocolate cream cookies)

For the Toppings:

  • 1/2 cup crushed Oreo cookies
  • Chocolate syrup
  • White chocolate syrup

Before you start assembling your cheesecake tacos, make sure you have all the ingredients ready. You’ll mix some things like sugar and cinnamon to make your taco shells sweet. For the filling, you’ll whip up cream and mix it with cream cheese and sugar. Let’s get to it!

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, combine granulated sugar and ground cinnamon. Set aside.
  3. Brush both sides of the tortillas with melted butter, then sprinkle one side with the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  4. Fold the tortillas in half, using a folded piece of foil to keep them open in a taco shape.
  5. Place the tortillas on an upside-down muffin tin, using the cups to hold the taco shape.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes until crispy. Remove from the oven and let them cool completely.
  7. In a large bowl, whip the heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form.
  8. In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract and mix until well combined.
  9. Fold in the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until well blended, then gently stir in 1/2 cup of crushed cookies.
  10. Pipe or spoon the cheesecake filling into the cooled taco shells.
  11. Drizzle with chocolate syrup and white chocolate syrup, then sprinkle with the remaining crushed cookies.
  12. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
