Honey Garlic Shrimp

This honey garlic shrimp is sweet, garlicky, and super easy to make. You’ll love how quick it is to cook. It’s yummy and perfect for a fast meal. Let’s cook!

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound of large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Gather your ingredients and let’s begin. This dish cooks fast, so it’s good to have everything ready. Now, onto the steps.


Instructions:

  1. Season the shrimp with salt and black pepper to taste. Set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and cook for 1-2 minutes on one side until pink on the bottom side.
  4. Flip the shrimp and add the minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for another minute until the shrimp are pink and cooked through.
  5. Reduce the heat to low and pour the honey garlic sauce into the skillet. Stir and cook for another minute or two until the shrimp are well coated and the sauce has thickened slightly.
  6. Remove from heat, sprinkle with chopped parsley, and give everything a final stir.
  7. Serve the honey garlic shrimp with lemon wedges on the side for additional flavor when squeezed over the shrimp.
